RAQQA — In Iraq, one may find that the beliefs in which Iraqi’s hold may not be all that different from the rest of the world. And in one community, perhaps, that belief is the claim that the United States is largely if not entirely responsible for “aiding ISIS” rather than attempting to wipe them out.
As one Washington Post reporter put it “Iraqi’s have this largely perceived conspiracy theory” that the U.S military is “aiding ISIS”. How so? One Iraqi official claimed that MRE ‘s were found when an ISIS fighter was captured earlier this year, significantly, lending credibility to the claim that the Americans are aiding the terrorists.
