The Daily News has learned that the United States Army has begun forcibly discharging recruits within their special program that promises a path to citizenship for immigrants.  According to the AP, as of this writing, at least 40 or so cases have been uncovered. Immigration attorneys are having a field day with the news.
This is where it may get very illegal and very troubling.  Recruits and even reservists are apparently not being told as to why they’re being discharged — leaving their futures and lives in jeopardy.
Both the Pentagon and the Department of Defense refused to comment for multiple outlets, however, did mention an apparent lawsuit. They further claimed that they couldn’t answer any questions due to the very same lawsuit in question.
