Rapper Kanye West, a man of many words apparently has a few interesting thoughts to add to his resume. In a recent interview, the controversial rapper both praised Trump and made a few shocking comments about the history of slavery.
In the interview, West was asked a number of questions (‘ranging from his addiction, to, Donald Trump”).
“When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years, that sounds like a choice.” He said during the interview. “Like, you was there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all?! It’s like we’re mentally in prison.” Interestingly the comments came just a few short days after he publicly praised Donald Trump.
But, that’s nothing new. Kanye has been a supporter of Trump for some time. He was one of the first major stars to appear at Trump Tower during Trump ‘s initial time as President last year.
