Another bad weekend for one Harvey Weinstein.  According to reports, the Directors Guild, has decided to file negative actions against Weinstein that are certain to further harm his career come Monday morning.  According to the Los Angeles Times, the association broke with their own policy to make the announcement.

“As directors and team members who solve problems for a living,” president Thomas Schlamme said, “we are committed to eradicating the scourge of sexual harassment on our industry. Unless we recognize what has become so acceptable in our culture and how we possibly, even unconsciously, are participants, everything else will be meaningless.”

Meanwhile,  at least three US police agencies have opened rape investigations into Harvey Weinstein. An unidentified woman has come forth from 2013 (leaving that in the limitations time frame for prosecution) claiming he raped her.  The NYPD declined to comment on their own version of the investigation.
