The sudden death of Playboy legend Hugh Hefner came sort of out of no where. Now, we’ve got a bit more information on the matter. According to a death certificate obtained by The Blast, Hefner died of septicimia coupled with a strain of an E.Coli infection. Ultimately, he died of respiratory infection due to complications of the illnesses.
Playboy Enterprises did not return calls for comment.
