That’s at least what activists in the country are saying. According to officials, dozens have been arrested across the Kingdom in the last week as (“the royal family attempts to crush dissent and stop any form of a coup”.
Meanwhile, in other news. Activists claimed during phone calls with The Daily News that up to 40 if not more people were arrested. During the arrests, they were cited for interfering “with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its daily life” by “attempting to overthrow the monarchy”.
Saudi officials themselves would not confirm the number arrested, but, did confirm arrests occurred. Meanwhile, they themselves claim that they “were working on behalf of foreign powers”.
