TEHRAN — Following a press conference last week, the “Natalie Portman” of Iran apparently found herself in hot water after reaching for a mic. According to reports, Taraneh Alidoosti, reached for a mic during the conference unknowingly revealing what appeared to be a “women power” symbol on her forearm.
The symbol has since sparked discussion on Iranian social media with most being supportive, and others, claiming that Alidoosti’s supposed tattoo indicates she supports abortion (among other things) a particular right that doesn’t exist in Iran.
