Today marks a shocking day in music. It was announced by reports and later supermodel Iman that music legend David Bowie, has passed away. According to Bowie’s wife Iman, the legendary singer and songwriter died at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.
The news was first confirmed by Bowie’s own publicists and social media accounts, who, noted that the iconic musician had quietly been treated for cancer the past 18 months.
