In a move to combat growing campus sexual assault, and, severe alcohol abuse. But, professors aren’t actually on board with the idea — and — are staging a protest of sorts. According to several Harvard professors, including former Dean  Dean Lewis, the move “is a violation of the right to associate” by Harvard students.
Officials apparently want to ban students from joining frats; Â all male groups, and pretty much any kind of group that may lead to trouble for students or the University. Â Professors are apparently signing petitions to stop the University from doing such, although, the final decision is expected in a few days from the President of the University himself.
Officials wouldn’t and rejected comment when requested by The Daily News.
