A car belonging to a missing American couple has reportedly been found in Belize. The car was discovered about 20 miles from a bar where Francesca Matus, 52, was last seen with boyfriend Drew DeVoursney, 36. The twosome have not yet been found themselves, police, have since launched a massive manhunt for the couple.
Police and family say that passports and personal effects of the couple have been found, but, still no sign of the couple.
Meanwhile, a Go Fund Me page to help with costs to search for the couple has been set up. As of this writing, they reportedly have raised upwards of $4,500.
“That’s the hardest part, is just that we don’t know anything,” DeVoursney’s mother says. “We don’t know where he is, what’s going on.”
STORY UPDATE: As of 7:01 am EST, Matus and her boyfriend have been found dead about 15 miles from the bar in which they were last seen at. Foul play is widely suspected, and, a manhunt is on for their reported killer.
