Sad news in the comedy world today, as it has been confirmed that the second big icon in comedy of the week has died. According to reps for Charlie Murphy, 57, (this is actually Charlie despite the uncanny resemblance to Eddie Murphy (his brother) ) he died of leukemia in New York City.
He was perhaps best known for his writing of Eddie’s movies Norbit and numerous others. In his previous years, he had starred in and aided the production of the Chapelle Show.
