But now, scientists say that they’ve found sufficient e nough evidence to formally and scientifically classify the mesentery as an actual organ that is vital to the human body. Researchers aren’t quite yet sure what the mesentery does in its whole, but, they reportedly believe that it will help determine future cures for abdominal issues and problems.
