NERBALTIMORE — One of the many cops detained over the murder of Freddie Gray has been reportedly acquitted of all charges.  Edward Nero, who gambled on a non-jury trial appears to have won his own life-altering gamble on the trial itself.

Nero was acquitted on all charges by the judge presiding over the case on grounds that were previously argued by his defense team. Nero’s defense team has previously argued that although he was on bike patrol that fatal afternoon and later arrested Gray, he, had little to do with the injuries that were sustained while Gray was in the vehicle.
