BILOXI — In wake of yet another hateful anti-gay bill in the United States, particularly Mississippi, The Uptown Agency can confirm that college newspapers located in the state and  the pending 15 April launch of The Mississippian have been temporarily suspended.

It appears that Mississippi has chosen to join the ranks of those looking to segegrate gay and trans people from their not so gay counterparts.  As an agency, The Uptown Agency firmly believes that we are all one.– whether gay straight bi or trans of any kind.

Until further notice, expansion plans in North Carolina and Mississippi have been cancelled.

The Uptown Agency had received $375,000 in private equity funding for The Mississippian.
