With the much debated felony assault charges that were levied against the legendary comedian yesterday. Pennsylvania authorities charged Cosby with felony sexual assault in connection to a 2004 incident in which Andrea Costrand claims that Cosby assaulted her and provided her “drugs” that left her incapacitated. Cosby was quickly released from jail after being booked, but, not before he was forced to pay more than $1million in bail.
Experts say that the charge carries up to 10 years maximum in prison for felony assault in the state of Pennsylvania. However, it remains unclear whether or not Cosby will actually be convicted. The Los Angeles Times has the entire 23-page criminal complaint, that perhaps, has social media ablaze with debate.
