PARIS — In what may be the first real development in the Charlie Hebdo shooting, reports confirmed today that at least one of the shooters in the deadly massacre has surrendered. According to what we’ve learned, the first suspect turned himself in more than 100 miles away near the border of Belgium — the other 2 suspects remain at large and are considered deadly.
A French police official told Daily News Online that Hamyd Mourad, 18, the suspect in question reportedly waltzed into a police station introducing himself to turn himself in — however, he may or may not have been involved at all as it has now emerged he has an alibi.
Mourad, willingly turned himself in after reportedly seeing himself on social media and his name. His classmates are standing by the claim that he was in school during the shooting.
