In the seocnd attempt to determine whether or not the Vatican should ordain women as deacons a new development. According to reports, the study found that no woman should be allowed to have such happen despite public support for such.

The Associated Press reports an unusual move by the Vatican.  Officials at the agency released a synethsis of findings made by the second of two commissions. What was included in the document on the matter including the study’s findings, members votes on theological questions and did leave open the possiblity of further studies on the matter.
Instead of ordaining women the Vatican has proposed itself that the creation of new lay ministries take place to specifically service women outside of the diaconate.
