Real Housewives of Potomac personality Wendy Osefo and her husband Edward Osefo are looking at more than a dozen and a half federal charges in what authorities call a wide-ranging scam.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office TV star Wendy Osefo of Real Housewives of Potomac fame has been arrested on 15 federal charges related to various claims of fraud. Her husband Edward ‘Eddie’ Osefo has also been arrested and slapped with numerous federal charges.

The charges
According to the case, Wendy herself is facing roughly 16 charges. She is accused in at least seven of those felonies cases of fraud in the excess of $300. She was also hit with a misdemeanor charge of a knowingly providing a materially false statement to an officer.
On Eddie ‘s part he is facing a whopping 18 charges in the case. Among them: 9 felony cases of fraud in excess of $300, and 8 more misdemeanors for the same thing. He was also charged with a materially false statement to an officer.
The pair are the latest members from Potomac society to find themselves in trouble with the law. Fellow TV personality and co-star was previously arrested on a DUI charge and served six months in jail.
The case seems to stem from a case last year involving alleged lies from the couple to police. Reports say that they at the time reported their house being broken into — and tens of thousands in fear missing only for that fear to allegedly turn up on Osefo herself in social media photos. Their claimed alleged losses amounted to $450k. In case it couldn’t get any worse it does. According to the case, the couple also fraudulently returned many of the reported stolen items to their respective stores for full refunds.
