Donald Trump ‘s mass firings at the Department of Education are once again underway. According to reports, SCOTUS ruled this week that the firings of about 1,400 people can continue following several efforts to block the move.

The Lowdown

On Monday, the Supreme Court handed Donald Trump another win after the court  found that he can continue his firings at the Department of Education.   The firings were previously blocked by lower court ruling that found the move was unconstitutional.    All three liberal justices dissented per the ruling.

What happened?

Previously, US District Judge Myong Joun in Boston issued an order blocking the move citing concerns that the firings would in essence cripple the department.   With the ruling by SCOTUS, the firings can now continue aligning one of Trump ‘s biggest campaign promises to reality.
