According to reports, the Trump Administration has announced a series of new tariffs following the commencement of tariffs on goods from Japan and South Korea.

The Lowdown

On Monday, the Trump Administration formally unveiled a long list of new tariffs as Trump escalates his trade attacks globally. Among those listed are below according to today’s press conference. These are in addition to the tariffs announced on goods from Japan and South Korea.

  • Myanmar, 40%.
  • Laos, 40%.
  • Cambodia, 36%.
  • Thailand, 36%.
  • Bangladesh, 35%.
  • Serbia, 35%.
  • Indonesia, 32%.
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina, 30%.
  • South Africa, 30%.
  • Malaysia, 25%.
  • Kazakhstan, 25%.
  • Tunisia, 25%.

The new tariffs are set to come into play on 1 August after a previous date push back by Trump. More tariffs are expected in the coming days.
