Trouble in paradise for one influencer couple. According to reports, Joshua Stapleton, 39, has been accused of being in possession of dozens of pieces of child porn thereby sending shockwaves through their supposed picture perfect life.
The Lowdown
More than four years after a little known investigation into Stapleton, the disgracedd high-flyer has learned his fate. According to Fox 5,  Stapleton has been sentenced to 5 years behind bars and an additional 15 years on probation. Brittani, his wife has since derided the sentencing in TikTok videos.
What happened?
According to reports, Stapleton was under investigation by authorities in Georgia for at least two years before the hammer came down on him. Authorities reportedly found numerous pieces of child porn depicting children in sexually compromising positions. The images per the case were all downloaded between 2018 and 2020.
In case it couldn’t get any worse it does.  Initially charged with 15 counts of child porn, he was actually later indicted on more than 40 counts in total of the sexual exploitation of minors. In the end, the disgraced influencer accepted a non-negotiable plea deal that saw him plead guilty to at least 20 of the charges while the other half were dropped.
In case it couldn’t get stranger it actually does. In an 8 minute rant posted online, Brittani claimed to have known about the crimes when she married Stapleton in 2023 a revelation that many found shocking.
He is currently being held in the Bartow County Sheriff ‘s Office Jail. No further information has been released at this time. The couple is well known online for their fancy Gulf Coast style living though many are now calling out their so-called lifestyle as manufactured.
