Shari Redstone’s Paramount has capitulated in disgrace to Donald Trump. According to reports, the company has announced that it will pay $16m to Donald Trump’s future Presidential library but will not be paid to Donald Trump indirectly or directly. The settlement also does not include a statement of apology or wrongdoing or regret. But the payment made speaks volumes where it is otherwise quiet.
Trump had originally filed a $10B lawsuit against CBS in October, alleging that the network deceptively edited a 60 Minutes interview with then Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
