Pop Queen Beyonce who is slated to return to her hometown of Houston for her next Cowboy Carter show has found herself in the midst of backlash. According to reports, Beyonce wore a shirt in Paris that appeared to paint Native Americans and those related in a terrible light even as they were (at the time) targeted for inhumane reasons in the 1800s. The shirt we’re talking about folks featured images of the Buffao Soldiers who were part of Black US army units during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

As she heads home to Houston for her next Cowboy Carter tour show American singer Beyonce is facing heated controversy online over her choice of a shirt worn in Paris. According to social media images and footage, Beyonce wore a shirt featuring the following words on the back: “their (being the Native Americans) antagonists were the enemies of peace, order and settlement: warring Indians, bandits, cattle thieves, murderous gunmen, bootleggers, trespassers, and Mexican revolutionaries.”
Images of the shirt were also featured on her website.
