A shocking arrest in West Virginia. According to reports, a gravedigger has been arrested after the corpse of a dead child was discovered by a visitor. The remains were first buried in 1982.

A shocking discovery at a cemetery in Cabell County, West Virginia, has captured headlines. According to local reports, a gravedigger in the area was arrested on 27 March after a person decorating a grave made a grim discovery. WOWKTV reports that the tragic find, which was first buried in 1982, was discovered shortly after 7 p.m. on 27 March at the Baylous Cemetery in Salt Rock.

Matthew Fortner, a 49-year-old gravedigger, was arrested after he apparently dug up a baby’s casket and then attempted to dispose of it all the while trying to dig a grave for someone else. Fortner faces up to five years in prison if convicted in the bizarre case.
