Important news for travelers in the United States. According to a new rule, people will no longer be able to request a gender change on their passport in line with the new anti-gender expression orders that were put into place by Donald Trump.

The Lowdown

According to NBC News, travelers seeking to change their passports or who already have an X on their passport might want to pay attention. Following a new executive on Monday, Donald Trump formally declared that the United States will only recognize two sexes male and female. The move undoes just about every passport in existence with an X marker as they may no longer be recognized at border crossings and airports.

The new directive from newly minted Secretary of State Marco Rubio has requested that *all* passports requesting the following two things be suspended ‘without’ any further work being done on said applications.
