According to reports, the bodies of six hostages have been recovered from within a tunnel in Rafah. The discovery has sparked protests.

The Lowdown

NBC News reports that Hersh Goldberg-Polin was among those discovered in the tunnel. He had been among those kidnapped during Hamas 7 October attack on Israel.

The identities of those recovered are as follows: Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi and Master Sgt. Ori Danino.
