White woman who senselessly shot Black neighbor convicted of manslaughter

Susan Lorincz  who notoriously shot Ajike ‘AJ’ Owens in a confrontation turned dispute has been convicted of manslaughter and faces up to thirty years in prison.

The Lowdown

In a case that sparked outcry from civil rights groups justice appears to be on its way. According to the case, Lorincz is now staring down the barrel of thirty years in prison for Owens 2 June death in Florida. Lorincz had been accused of having a confrontational history with Owens which prosecutors argued throughout the case after learning of past racial comments made.
