3. What should have been an idyllic trip has since become an international nightmare for five tourists. According to reports, 5 American tourists remain in Turks and Caicos this week after being detained earlier this month at an airport over claims ammo was in their luggage.
According to reports, a U.S delegation left for Turks and Caicos Wednesday to aid in the release of five American tourists detained in the country on allegations that ammo was found in their luggage. The group maintains that they had no idea ammo was in their luggage. CBS reports that per a court order announced earlier this year, mandatory prison sentences of up to 12 years are required for such charges in the country.
4. Nikki Haley yes that Nikki Haley has confirmed what many knew all along that she would in fact be voting for Donald Trump.
According to reports, the former GOP Presidential candidate confirmed on Wednesday that she in fact plans to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming election despite being his election rival. Haley made the comments during an appearance at the Hudson Institute where in the same notion she claimed to have stood by what she originally said.
“Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me, and not assume that they’re just going to be with him — and I genuinely hope he does that,” she added.
Social media users were quick to point out Haley ‘s hypocritical stance on the matter with some claiming she’s simply propping herself up for a position at some point in the future.
