Even Gershkovich the Wall Street Journal reporter arrested on fake espionage charges in Russia is preparing to learn his fate. This week, Russian authorities hauled Gershkovich into a secret hearing where per reports his detention was extended with no explanation.
Gershkovich was originally arrested in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, about 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles) east of Moscow.
