Scientists have made quite the fascinating yet terrifying discovery off of the coast of Antarctica. According to researchers, and this is not a joke people, a new sea monster has been discovered off of the coast of Antarctica.
If that sounds like something out of a badly written Disney movie, we thought the same thing until the photographs appeared on screen. According to reports, the Antarctic Strawberry Feather Star was first discovered during research missions in the frozen region beginning back in 2008 through 2017.
The photographs can be viewed by clicking here. The massive creature which has 20 legs can live up to 6,500 feet below the surface of the ocean. Researchers say that the alarmingly terrifying species has a different set of legs depending on what area of the body one is looking at.
Though mysterious the creature is known for its strawberry like body when its legs flow outward.
