Prosecutors in the case(s) against R Kelly have announced that a total of 4 charges are being dropped against the fallen music icon and convicted sex pest. Prosecutors determined last week that because of there already being so many charges against Kelly that the 4 charges would be essentially pointless. CBS Chicago reports that prosecutors are facing criticism over claims that such does those victims related to these charges an injustice themselves.
State Attorney Kim Foxx said this “may be disappointing” to women who came forward with allegations, the AP reports. “Mr. Kelly is looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again,” she said. “We believe justice has been served.”
