GOPer George Santos is … well a nightmare.
George Santos is now facing increasing calls to resign from Congress even now from his own people. According to reports, Republicans in the state are now scrambling to cover up the fact they never vetted Santos properly and helped propel him to Congress. GOPers are now demanding he resign citing that he is a fraud built upon lies but he is refusing to even acknowledge the demands as he continues to align himself with the most hard-right members of Congress.
“He’s disgraced the House of Representatives, and we do not consider him one of our congresspeople,” said Nassau County GOP chairman Joseph G. Cairo Jr., per the New York Times. “Today on behalf of the Nassau County Republican committee. I am calling for his immediate resignation.”
