The race to identify whether or not there are species or aiens above us could take a dramatic turn in the very new future. A new study appears to suggest that the likely detection of aliens will come from clouds of methane via biosignatures in atmospheres. This is big news and exciting in the world of Space as the James Webb Telescope is currently looking for these very things in Space.
According to NASA the implications of this may be profound if discoveries are made. Any discoveries of such signatures that are confirmed to come from a type of species or form of life would ultimately mean that we are not alone.
