This weekend in Harlem the NYPD is investigating reports of a violent attempted rape that occurred against a 43-year-old female victim. According to police reports, the unidentified woman was attacked near 123rd st Friday night in Harlem by a man wearing blue rubber gloves. He is pictured in the screenshots below.
He is understood to be of stocky build; probably about 5’8, and likely in his forties according to police officials working on the case. He is still at large and has not been arrested by police as of this writing.
Police note that the suspect repeatedly kicked the woman, at one point curb stomping her, before undressing and attempting to rape her. Police said the man fled the scene before completing the rape, however, he left the victim with numerous injuries including severe head trauma.
