Prince Harry will no longer attend the memorial service for the late Prince Phillip. According to reports, the Americanized former royal has made the decision not to attend the service amid his ongoing court battle against the UK government over its rejection of his offer to pay for his own security in country. The reasoning behind it isn’t quite clear mostly because Harry did in fact offer to foot the bill entirely for additional protections while in country./
The move isn’t a move against the Queen with multiple people noting that Harry still intends to very soon visit so he can see his grandmother. Tensions are still high in the family though due to Harry ‘s memoirs which are understood to be preparing for publication later this year.
