He’s known to millions as the Tinder Swindler and to some women as the con of the century — and now Simon Leviev is speaking out. According to a new interview, the man who famously claimed on Tinder that he was apparently the heir to a diamond merchant denies most of it not all of the allegations that were lobbied against him.

No joke.

In the interview, Leviev maintains that he simply was a man trying to meet some women but makes no mention of the fact he defrauded some of the women mentioned in the show to the tune of millions. To this day, it has never been proven that Leviev was ever a diamond heir of any kind.

“I was just a single guy that wanted to meet some girls on Tinder,” he said in a clip shared on the show’s YouTube channel. “I’m not a Tinder swindler.”

Leviev is actually apparently a scam artist from Israel who only served about 5 months of his 15 month prison sentence for fraud and his swindling acts.
