Met Office officials have issued a number of wintery weather warnings this weekend as Britons disengage from the week to find something fun to do. According to the Met Office, low pressure to the North West is bringing a bit of snow and heavy rain for most of the weekend. As a result, folks should be prepared for potential floods in their residential areas.

The warnings kicked off on Friday with a yellow warning for parts of Scotland and also warnings in southern England and Wales. As of this writing, it appears that the area is seeing upwards of 11cm (4.3in) of snow.
