A new study published this weekend appears to have revealed an intriguing find about the COVID-19 virus. According to the study, the virus is understood to be able to make your muscles expand by up to 60% in the most severe of cases. The study appears to have come from Jessa Hospital in Belgium.
The study’s lead doctor Dr Toon Mostien revealed that the research team behind the study took biopsies from roughly 18 patients. Four of those reported patients are understood to have had massively increased muscles at the time of the study. Mostien also says that the expansion is Likely only temporary but can damage tissue if the case is severe in any way.
