A U.S federal judge has come out against Los Angeles ruling that every homeless person on skid row must be offered housing by the fall. According to CNN, the ruling comes as Los Angeles is experiencing far higher homelessness levels than ever before.

“Los Angeles has lost its parks, beaches, schools, sidewalks, and highway systems due to the inaction of city and county officials who have left our homeless citizens with no other place to turn,” US District Judge David Carter said in the 110-page brief.

It comes on the heels of the mayor’s budget proposal announcement which has caught some serious flack online.
