Jose Bolsonaro (the President of Brazil, if you’ll call him that) would like the modern world including his own to shut up about the Coronavirus. According to reports — Bolsanaro spoke to a crowd on Thursday knowingly having told them to be quiet about the virus because it just didn’t matter.
. “Enough fussing and whining. How much longer will the crying go on?” Bolsonaro told an audience Thursday, Reuters reports. “How much longer will you stay at home and close everything? No one can stand it anymore. We regret the deaths, again, but we need a solution.”
According to the latest stats, Brazil recorded 75,102 new coronavirus cases Thursday. Cases in the region are spiking amid more variants being found and little being done by the local government.
