Wells Fargo in the U.S has begun mass layoffs

Joining the extensive list of companies in the U.S that are laying folks off now has Wells Fargo on that list. According to the betrothed bank (because they’re scam artists and fraudsters nobody trusts them anyway), the bank has begun laying off more than 700 commercial jobs and there may be more in coming days.

The controversial bank who has lied to its own customers before is now taking it out on its employees amid the Coronavirus.

We are at the beginning of a multiyear effort to build a stronger, more efficient company for our customers, employees, communities and shareholders,’ spokeswoman Katie Ellis told American news outlet Bloomberg.

This comes amid crises at the bank in itself which are being blamed on employees. In recent years, Wells Fargo has been found to have opened fraudulent accounts; engaged in practically illegal banking activities, and otherwise outright scammed thousands of their own customers.
