Woody Allen: I married Soon-Yi purely for financial reasons

Those financial reasons actually make Woody Allen sound like the world’s richest sugar daddy. The New York Post is out with excerpts from Allen ‘s bombshell memoir, and let me be the first to say they’re pretty damn juicy as expected from someone as creepy as Allen himself.

“As far as marriage was concerned, neither of us had any great need to formalize our relationship,” he writes in his book “Apropos of Nothing.” “We both felt that no contract is worth the paper it’s printed on if the parties are not happy. We loved each other and there was no need to resort to legislature. We would definitely not wed, and that was that. And then we married. Why? Not for romantic reasons but strictly financial.”

The book was initially marred by refusals to publish it, but has since gone up for the world to see.
