In the midst of the growing pandemic over the novel Coronavirus, delivery services like Uber have now released their own customary guidelines to help prevent the spread amongst their communities. According to the guidelines provided to The Daily News by an active driver in New York, the guidelines now call for food to be dropped off in front of the door entirely — avoiding contact with consumers altogether.

Those guidelines were also met by an e-mail from Uber that declared that drivers or riders whom are believed too have tested positive for the virus — likely will have their accounts temporarily suspended.

“We have a team available 24/7 to support public health authorities in their response to the epidemic,” Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in an email to users and drivers sent Tuesday night.
