KANSAS — Troubling news in Kansas this morning as authorities have confirmed that a huge nitrogen tank explosion at a manufacturing facility has left more than 12 injured and at least one in critical condition.
The exact cause of the explosion remains unknown.
Reports say that the explosion occurred around 8am at the Beechcraft aircraft facility in Wichita. The news comes amid economic and job struggles for the community as Boeing has suspended production of its 737 MAX while the city reportedly is reevaluating paying workers related to the production of fuselages used in those types of planes.
