Known primarily as FlameCon *as amusig a name as that is* the event took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Manhattan. People decked out in all sorts of amazing Cosplay outfits turned up from quite literally all over the world.
I love going to events like this; introducing myself to others, collecting goodies, and seeing people have fun. And the fact that this was my first time to the Gay Comic Con, I am likely going to go back next year.
It’s so refreshing to see people having tons of real fun without much of any kind of problem. While there I did happen to get a signed comic book notice from an author named Kate, whom I fully intend to support.
