Because it appears on all accounts part of Trump ‘s latest rant against Omar appears to be a literal distortion from a Next Level Podcast interview. According to the National Post, which conducted the podcast interview, references to Omar ‘s (“claim”) that she disliked working class Americans aren’t anything more than Trump-appropriate lies.
Trump declared this week “She looks down with contempt on the hard-working Americans, saying that ignorance is pervasive in many parts of this country,” declared Trump.
Here in Minnesota we don’t just welcome refugees and immigrants, we send them to Washington.” is the line in question reportedly directly from a Next Level podcast from 2018.
But like The Nat’l Post notes Omar ‘s words appear to have directly been misrepresented to make her look bad.
