Another attempt to impeach Donald Trump is now on the books. According to reports, Texas rep Al Green introduced the articles on Tuesday just days after Trump twittered a storm of racism online. In the tweets, Trump, had claimed that four US congresswomen need to go back to where they came from “because they hated America”.
Green claimed in the articles that such is just the latest of low blows on behalf of the President, some of which, who has used fears of being different; non-white, and “progressive” as means to finger his base into support.
CNN reports that this is the first time that Green has introduced the resolution while Democrats control the House.
