Rapper charged with orchestrating human trafficking ring: Police

Shocking news in hip hop today as it has emerged that a rapper has been charged with human trafficking. According to XXL, rapper Soamann was apprehended this week after a group of women allegedly arrested for prostitution — claimed that they had only done so at the demand of Soamann.

He was reportedly booked into prison on 11 May and charged with two felonies related to the claims. Although he did eventually make a $100,000 bail payment and is awaiting an additional hearing on 6 June.
