BRONX, New York – Last year the internet went up in arms following the publication of video footage that showed a young boy being savagely drug out of a Bronx bodega. In case you remember what we’re talking about (but forgot where the case is now) — at least one of the gang members is about to walk free from jail.

The sweetheart deal will apparently see Alvarez “not see prison time” and he will get time served which means he is set to walk free in one of the most gruesome murders in the Bronx we’ve seen in a while. Alvarez this week, however, did plead guilty to a lesser charge of 1st degree manslaughter. It appears that as long as Alvarez cooperates with authorities, he, will see his charge vacated and remain a free man. As of this writing, he is in protected custody due to his formeer gang having turned on him.

According to court documents obtained by The Daily News, Kevin Alvarez, 20, will get a “sweetheart deal” in the savagely terrifying death of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, aka Junior. For most New Yorkers, people have long seen the footage of Alvarez literally dragging the 15-year-old boy out of a Bronx bodega — and then proceeding to literally viciously murder him.
