IT HAS NOW BECOME PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE that federal workers will not get paid on Friday if the shutdown goes further beyond that day. According to reports, the shutdown does indeed appear to be headed for much longer than that.

HUD offices are “scrambling” to find ways to help struggling federal workers who live in subsidized housing. According to The Daily Mail, landlords a re already preparing to evict thousands of workers who are behind on rent due to the shutdown.
